Where you can be hosted in South Korea

Most hosted trips in Korea are based in Seoul, with Busan as the usual second stop for longer tiers. Jeju and Gyeongju suit creators who want volcanic landscapes or ancient Silla heritage, and the DMZ near Paju is a day trip from Seoul. Your tier and the season decide how many places fit.

Seoul

Seoul is the base for almost every hosted Korea trip. In a few days you can film Joseon-era palaces, hanok lanes, some of Asia's best-known street food, a riverside skyline and the beauty industry at its source. The city is easy to move around, but palace rules, residential quiet hours and drone restrictions need planning.

South-east coast, South Korea

Busan

Busan is Korea's second city and main port, and gives a trip a different look from Seoul: beaches, hillside villages, seafood markets and a coastline you can film in a day. Most creators reach it from Seoul by KTX high-speed train in roughly two and a half to three hours, and it suits trips of Signature tier and above.

Volcanic island off the south coast, South Korea

Jeju

Jeju is a volcanic island off Korea's south coast, known for Hallasan, the crater of Seongsan Ilchulbong, lava-stone coastline and the haenyeo women divers. It suits nature, adventure and wellness channels. Reaching it usually means a domestic flight, which Explera does not provide, so it fits longer tiers where the dates allow.

Gyeongju

Gyeongju was the capital of the Silla kingdom for close to a thousand years, and the city still sits among royal burial mounds, temples and palace ponds. It suits culture and history channels and fits naturally between Seoul and Busan, so it works best on Signature tier trips and above.

The DMZ and Paju

The Demilitarized Zone near Paju is a guided day trip from Seoul and one of the most requested stops in Korea. Visits are tightly controlled: you join a licensed tour, bring your passport, follow the guides' instructions and accept that photography is restricted at certain points. Sites can close at short notice for security reasons.

Can I visit more than one city?

At Signature tier and above there is usually time to move between Seoul and Busan or add Gyeongju. How you travel between cities is agreed in the itinerary before you sign. Domestic flights, including to Jeju, are never provided.
