Korea is a mountainous country, and adventure content here is mostly about hiking: Bukhansan on Seoul's northern edge, Seoraksan's granite ridges in autumn, and Hallasan and the crater trails on Jeju. What should I know?

National park trails have cut-off times and some close seasonally for fire risk or conservation. Korean trails are well built but steep. Drone rules apply in national parks too, so check before flying.
